Question about 2000 Mazda 626
When a/c compresor coms on the car shoots forward/hard
Sorry that's the nature of the beast, as the a/c clutch engages the idle air control valve (IAC) will adjust to make sure the engine does not stall by raising the RPM of the engine. If it's too much of a difference, it can be adjusted at the dealer with updating software to your cars computer. Good luck and keep me posted, a good tune up also will help since the ECM is just controlling the IAC to keep the engine from stalling and a good tune engine will perform better.
