  • 1 - Open the driver-side door of your Ranger. Use a flashlight to locate the fuse panel beneath the dash area on the driver side of the truck, just inside the door. The fuse panel door will be labeled "FUSES" or something similar.
  • 2 - Grasp the handle of the fuse panel cover and pull it straight off the panel. Set the cover aside in a safe place.
  • 3 - Remove the rubber-tipped fuse puller from the panel. The fuse puller looks a little bit like a pair of tweezers with rubber tips.
  • 4 - Grasp the top of the fuse you want to change with the fuse puller. Pull the fuse straight out of the panel. Discard the old fuse.
  • 5 - Press the new fuse into place. If the empty slot is difficult to get to, use the fuse puller to help you get it into place. Press it in until it stops, so it is properly seated in the fuse panel.

I think I have found the problem. When I wiggle the ignition switch the turn signals and radio go on and off so I feel the issue is in the ignition switch. From what I understand the actual electronics for the switch are at the base of the sterring column behind the lower dash panel and is connected by a rod that may need adjusting.

Look on the driver's side fender well under the hood. Should be a long black rectangular box there. That is the power center or fuse block. The relays and fuses are inside. The top is not hard to remove. Hope this helped and best wishes.

SOURCE: can't find the fuse box under the driver's side dash on my 2000 suzuki grand vitara. my radio/clock not working and dome light does not come on when the driver's side door is opened.

Its below the Dashboard, on the left side of your knee. You have to use a torch & locate it from under the Dashboard, Its roughly near to the Clutch Pedal.
Here, it looks like this: (The Black one is the Fuse box) ba18901.jpg

I have just bought a used 1993 F150. Same exact symptom. I found that the connector that goes to the headlight switch itself had burnt contacts and showed signs of excessive heat. I replaced the connector and everything started working. Good luck.

Need to find the horn relay in a 1993 ford mustang gt I tested the horn and all fuses. I don't have a wiring diagram and chiltons doesn't show the horn circuit

94 was a new model freshening and I have 94. may be similar.

Horn Relay and fuse is in fuse box in engine compartment, driver side in front of strut tower.

Horn System The horn system includes:
    • Dual horns (13832) (one high pitched, one low pitched).
    • Horn blow switch (13A875) which grounds the horn relay, which energizes the horns .

See top right 'power distribution box' follow lines to the part of your engine you are concerned with, which fuse number, then look inside your engine, passenger fender, push down on the protective ?wall then pull the cover up, see your diagram and fuse numbers. the fuse box is inside the pickup under the drivers side dash, there is a flasher which is the round one in the fuse box, it controls turn signals and emergency flashers also in the same fuse box, there is a 15 amp fuse which controls just the turn signals it sits vertical instead of horizontal.
