Ok so my car drives fine in D3 from take off, but once in a while will slip a little, or bang into gear, but if i take off in D4 it will slip constantly and bang hard into gears, sometimes wont shift out...

Hello, Your vehicle is having one of three possible problems, both of which have to do with your transmission.
1. the transmission is really low on transmission fluid, in which case just add more (of the correct type for your car) to it until it shows up correctly on the dipstick. Try checking the transmission's dipstick while the engine is on and warm, making sure it does show up as being on the dipstick and that it is between the COLD and HOT markings.
2. The transmission is in need of a filter and fluid change which may or may not fix it. Usually it does.
3.It needs to be possibly fixed or rebuilt at a qualified transmission repair business.
Good Luck! Rich L.

My 2004 chevy Malibu 2.2L automatic started making this banging noise everytime I shift from P to R or D. It also jerks when i shift. Then it also makes a bang noise and it jerks real hard when shifting...

First change tranny fluid and filter. Check the tranny mounts and motor mounts. The GM's also have an automatic torque converter clutch circuit that can cause problems just like this.

2008 Hyundai Accent problems

first, what is the condition and level of the tranny fluid ? compare with new one please. if not the same by far in clour or odor, get the transmission filter and oil changed. while the pan is off, look in it to see if there is metal in it. if so, your torque converter may need to be change. a little greyish residue at the bottom is normal but if the magnet is full and also the, you got a problem. you may need to rebuild it or replace it.

Every time it shifts it bangs hard

Sounds like tranny problem. If it "clunks or bangs" when you first put it in drive it could be bad universal joints. If it is a tranny problem you can start cheap by changing the tranny fluid and filter and see if that fixes it. Most oil change places can do that for you.

Goes into neutral and then shifts hard into 1st on slowdown

It sounds like your input clutch seals are rolling. Is the check engine light on. It could also be the pressure control solenoid could be causing the problem aswell

700 r4 shift hard

The u-joints could cause the banging when you put it in gear. You might want to check the kick down cable. If it's out of ajustment it can cause the hard shift. The transmission thinks the motor is going faster then what it is and will shift harder. Put the car up on jack stand in the rear and put the tranny in neutral.turn the drive shaft back and forth with your hand and see if you hear the clunk or bang you heard when you put it in gear. if not then I would go with the kick down cable being to tightor to short on ajustment. However you want to look at it.

Lost reverse, sluggish 1st gear

You will need to get the Tranny Shift Kit Inspected for Shifting Ball Slippage. Should not be a Big Repair unless it messed up the Clutches inside the Tranny.
