I cant find the horn. it is not working as well, all my fuses are good. I do not know how to check the relays. 2004 chevy impala

Remove the plastic air deflector surrounding the hood latch assembly & disconnect the electical connector from the horn. Try a jumper wire to make sure it's the horn that's the problem. Check the horn relay also in the engine compartment fuse block cover. Good luck!

I wonder,, with colder tempratures this time of year, If somehow a connection in the horn pad was shorting out.due to expansion or contraction of a component inside the steering wheel. Try tapping on the top of the air bag on the steering wheel and horn buttons ..this may work ..note this is a guess and I hope this does it the only reason I mentioned it Is because I have seen this two other times...Good luck.

The security comes on and eventually the car won't start. The manual stated that it is the passlock. The security message will blink. When it stops blinking, the car will start.

There is a sensor on the back side of the tumblers in your ignition switch. This is the pass key sensor. Its bad. Have your switch replaced. Don't let anyone try to trouble shoot this. I have had to replace about 125 of these and they always crank and run afterward. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Pull the horn relay from the fuse box under the hood. They are all labeled. My horn was the same way. Good Luck!
