Hello;
My best response to you with the limited amount of information given is the lock up solenoid in the transmission is stuck. Service the transmission and have the solenoid tested and / or replaced.
Thanks;

Reverse lights stop working. Won't come on

it will be the revers switch that's connected to the gear box when you put the car van truck into reverse it hits a switch and turns reverse lights on might just be the wire has come off or the switch is broken

Mazda 1990 T3500 CAMPER-VAN reverse gear is ( stubbon ) locked

When a vehicl is in storage for a long time and hasn't been started ,the oil drains off the gears and any part above the oil line will rust and jam up. Try removing the lock unit as the dedent ball in the unit may be rusted in the out position and not moving out of the way to allow gear selection.Don't be surprised if the gear box and diff make some noise when you drive it.

I have a 1984 ford e150 econoline van and I can't get it to go in revers. Before the problem I lost my brakes while driving. I slamed the gear in park to slow the vehicle to a stop. Any solutions?

None that are easy or cheap. Best to take the van into a mechanic and have them look at it there is probably transmission damage. Though you could be lucky and it COULD just be linkages that are damaged rather then transmission damage (unlikely).

I left my doors open two long and the battery died so I got a jump and it started and ran for 20 mins and shut off and would not start again on the dash say stability disable and I can't see how to put it...

need to let the battery charge up with motor running and nothing on. park is first then revers then nuetral and then drive. put shifter al the way to park and then feel each gear click as it goes in.

When in gear can does not move

Check the transmission fluid,with the van at normal temperature and after runnig it through drive and revers a few times then place it in park and check it with the engine running,if it's down then top it up with chrysler type fluid and get the leak fixed,if it's not down on fluid then get a transmission shop to look at it.
