Find and replace the Blower fan relay, not sure where it is on your VW but it's common to be in with the fuse box by the battery. Good luck and hope this helps. When the relay goes bad from the heat of the electrical current, it seizes and does not disengage keeping the connection causing the ran to keep running.

2004 jeep grand Cherokee's radiator fan won't run on high

Hi Al, I'm glad to help!

Three possible causes: (1) The high speed circuit in the radiator fan motor could be defective. (2) The high speed fan relay Could be defective. (3) It possibly may have a wiring issue. I've seen at times where you can wiggle the fan motor connector that's mounted on the fan shroud and the motor will kick on. If this is the case then replace the hole assembly which is a motor and shroud assembly. Hope this helps and have an awesome day.

Blower motor runs all the time key on or off.

your blower motor resistor is shorted and needs to be replaced it is located on the blower box and has 5 or 6 wires going to it there should be two small 7 mm bolts holding it down, you can pull the blower motor relay to shut it off for now untill you get a replacment resistor good luck and please rate -jeff
