Had same problem,called my Cadillac buddy and he said pick up both crankshaft position sensors.Charged me $100 cash and has not stalled again,drove me nuts for two years.

You can check out what the trouble code is by pushing and holding the information button and the up arrow (right side of instrument cluster above the radio) until all the instrument clusters light. Press the information button (last) to enter test mode. I've had an error C1234, meaning Left rear wheel sensor fault. I found the problem to be a corroded connector under the chasis just under the rear left door about 2 feet in. I had to by-pass (replace 1 wire due to corrosion at the connector.

Hello. Most likely you only jarred the sensors which caused the service warning light to come on. Take it to any AAMCO if you have one near by where they will scan the computer for free. While they have the scanner connected have them reset it which will turn off the light. Joe

i hav the same problem wit my 98 deville wat did u do to fix it and wat was the cheapest way. Also did u have anyother problems wit ur car during the time u were driving it wit these lights on

Since both of these systems rely on the wheel speed sensors, this is probably what needs to be replaced. If you don't have your own scanner or can't find a part store that can give you ABS codes, it would be worth it to pay a shop to give you the code so you can replace the correct sensor instead of guessing.
