check engine light has been on for 2 yrs my 2002 f 150 has 200,000 miles still runs fine is ther anything i can do to get the light off? thanks

You may have an emmissions problem on your truck and the only way to correctly turn the light off is have the issue repaired. The light will come back on if you simply have it reset.

Yeah.. take it to autozone and ask them to hook up there scanner to remove the check engine light. (however, if the light is on, thers probally a problem, my step dads 99 has 220,000 miles and it runs fine with the check engine light on, but it does have reasons why its on. So autozone could probally fix ya up.
