Radio,clock cigarette lighter

lighter will most probably be on its own fuse, which in your case is blown.
radio and clock will probably be on the same fuse, which has blown.
Its important to remember that most radios have their own fuse which is found at the back of the radio.(radio will have to be removed) but try the easy fuse first (in the fuse panel

replace the bulb in the overhead light. the light cover should just pull off (may be a small clip to free it, flathead screwdriver )

Windows, Locks, And speakers not working. No blown fuses

On some cars when you disconnect the battery for whatever reason certain electrical areas will not be restored to operation after the battery is reconnected. You need what they refer to as a radio code to restore radio and other circuits to operation. The code should be in car manual. If not contact the dealer for the radio code for your car.

Radio filter capacitor replacement in a 1994 Toyota camery

It seems that short circuit/Voltage drop has occurred during the replacement and cleaning the battery ends. Please check the following:
- Check the battery voltage.
- Power fuse if attached at the battery +ive terminal.
- Ignition (IGN) fuse in the fuse and relay box in the passenger compartment.
- Ignition switch.
If problem persists, contact a qualified service personnel.

1999 Toyota Avalon. I've dealt with only one speaker working in the back seat passenger side of door and now it went out and the smell of burnt wires? Permeated through the car. What's an easy, cheap fix...

Hi, as a retired radio installer here is what I reccomend. First, you should the head unit. They are very cheap now. Wallmart can fix you up for under "a c note". Pick up a pair of 5x7 speakers for the rear. Most of your toyota systems are using sep. Amps. All.told, including labor you should be under $200. That should give you many happy miles.

My 06 Audi a4 had a blown 20amp fuse for the radio. There was a lot of feedback noise coming through the speakers even with the radio off. I've replaced the fuse, so now the background noise is gone, but...

Check that power is actually getting to the radio. A cheap multimeter will do the trick. Connect the red tester to the power supply and the black to any earth (-ve). The body of the car is earthed so any bolt into the body will do.

Check that the radio doesn't have its own inline fuse which could also have blown.

It takes quite a substantial fault to blow a 20 amp fuse so take care, there may well be a dead short somewhere.

No sound is coming out of the speakers when I turn the radio on. Is there a fuse that might need to be replaced? The radio display is working so I think it might be the speakers.

The radio has a amp. fuse built into the back of the radio. Cant tell you how to remove the radio without
more info about the car and the radio. The fuse is blade type located next to the control plug.
This could be your problem as blown speekers still make some noise normal sound is crackling if blown
hope this helps
please leave feed back

You may have inadvertently shorted some wires while replacing the battery. If all else seems to be OK then the culprit could be a blown fuse. Replace any blown fuses.
