Question about 1997 Lincoln Town Car
I thought the slower working of trunk was caused by an old original battery, so I replaced it Now it doesn't work at all! The 40 amp fuse is good! That was about a month ago. Now all of a sudden my headlights will not turn off, even with switch in off position, and key out of ignition. I can't tell if I have DRL relay or not! I have to remove ground cable to prevent battery discharge.
My 94 Cartier did this once when it had not been driven or started for over a week. I tried the switch and renoved the key. I also had to remove the battery cable to get the lights to go off. The car never did this again. I also called the local LINCOLN dealer about this, but they had never heard of this happening and had no idea what had caused it.
