That is a silly question no matter what vehicle you own

I have a 1984 S-10 Blazer for 30 years, so put any
vehicle you drive in D & nothing else

There is NO Automatic Transmission out there that
gets shifted to anything

yes you have to drop the tank. you will also need a fuel line tool to unhook the fuel lines. before you drop the tank see if tou can reach and wiggle the electrical connection on the top of the tank. these pumps have a pigtail issue. please rate

Reset the computer by disconnecting the battery. This should solve this. nutetral is for the four lo only to engage.

SOURCE: 84 chevy 4 wheel drive auto hub removial

Remove the outer hub, (MANUAL OR AUTOLOCKING?) Check for a large snap ring. Insert two of the screws back in a few turns and slide the center out. Remove the large nut. Usually another snap ring, and then another large nut. (Caliper and wheel first).

It could be a junk switch or it could be bad contacts inside the transfer case motor.. Does the transfer case switch to the selected gears? Everytime? If so, you might try another switch. If it does the same, I would say the motor contacts are bad. Replace the motor if you want the lights, But I personally wouldn't do it until the motor quit switching gears. They're not cheap.

2001 chevy s-10, has 4-wheel drive buttons on the dash. Will switch from 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive on its own. Any ideas as to what is going on?

I wouldn't hesitate to start by replacing the switch. They are know to go bad. It will simply pop out of the dash and unplug. You can find a new one for about $25 at your local NAPA or you can also find them at the dealer.

1995 chevy blazer transmission will not let truck shift out of second when in drive

Normally while driving in overdrive (4th gear) you will feel it start slipping and finally slide into third gear. Then 3rd gear slips out into second, and you will never see 3rd or 4th gear again. I'm guessing this was the problem? If so its time for an overhaul

95 Chevy Blazer Gears off + back gate & window won't open

Those are two different issues.
1. your gear selector (PRNDL) not showing exactly what gear you are in is not that big of a deal unless you are not able to figure out the gears (sounds like you got it, and YES IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE).
2. if the fuse is ok you might have to take some where ot diagnose why not working. just because they tell you what will fix your issue does not mean you have to let them! (fuse relay wiring or latch not exactly sure what is going on?)

95 chevy blazer has dash lights intensity varying while driving

This is not a voltage problem. The problem is in the headlight/dash dimmer. You have to turn the dimmer switch on the headlight switch to select what intensity you have right? try turning it down just a smidge and if it stays steady then it is most likely a dimmer switch problem. This requires replacement of the headlight/dimmer switch to fix. local auto parts shop should be able to have this in stock.
ps dont forget to rate my solution please. Thanks
