Loss of engine power

I am having problems with my 05 Pontiac Grand Prix losing engine power. I have taken it back to the dealership numerous times and had the accelorator pedal changed twice. Apparently they cant find the real problem here. Whatever it is causes my my engine light to come on and I lose the get up in my engine. I had the cars codes pulled and the lights went off but the codes were still there (3 codes 2125 2123 2138 i believe). There were multiple codes everytime I took the car in and they pointed to the accelorator pedal. But the problem still persists. What could possibly be the problem?

Check wiring around the throttle motor assy on the top of the engine. This harness sometimes rubs through on hot engine surfaces.

I had a similar problem with a 2001 grand prix and it turned out to be the catalytic converter.

I would have the catilitic converter checked. when they clog up you loose power and burn more fuel it could also explain the hot engine as the exaust can not escape. hope this helps!

Does the 2005 pontiac grand prix have a variable steering unit?

The safest way to tell is by taking the VIN to the dealership parts department and asking them. If you know what to look for, there should be an electrical modulator valve on the PS pump or pressure line if it has variable steering.

Abs and tcs off lights are on,

These lights are on because the system has a fault and it has disabled itself, so you have no anti-lock brakes or traction control right now, you will have to have the system tested for trouble codes by a shop with the proper test equipment, a GM dealer is your best bet.
