I have a 1998 Ford Contour. Believe it or not the ABS and the Blower Motor share the same fuse. It's a yellow 60 amp and you have to take off the battery to get at it. Of course this happened twice in the 6 years I had the car, both times in the dead of winter. Tires Plus in Pennsauken, NJ replaced it. Other than that, no complaints with my Contour.

Remove the RH lower instrument panel insulator under the dash you should then see it,has one screw holding it to the blower case.It will have OG/BK,LG/WH,YE/RD,BK wires if it is a manual system. If electronic climate control the wire colors will be VT/WH,TN/OG,RD/WH.BK

Look under the dash on passenger side and just to the left of the blower motor housing you will see the 4WD control module.Remove the 2 screws holding the module and let it hang down and your resistors are behind this.Remove the 2 screws holding the resistors and remove.
Now I am assuming you have manual climate control and not electonic.
SOURCE: where is the resistor in a 2001 ford explorer
You have to remove your glove box and it is behind there. Here is a picture of where it is. This particular picture is from a 4 X 4 so if you don't have that it won't have the 4X4 part. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for using FixYa!
SOURCE: how do you replac blower motor resistor on 2005
It is under the glove box. Take off the big black cover below the glove box by removing the two plastic tabs (tough to get out, used a screw driver to pull out slightly and then stuck needle nose pliers underneath to remove the remainder). The Resistor is in the back left corner within the duct. 2 screws and the resistor pulls out.
