Slight grinding noise in 3rd gear pops out now wont engage ANY gear clutch feels normal shifter feels normal , 190,000 miles was about to need cluch still the original

your teansmission is going to be overhauled. it sounds like the synchros are going bad. the shifter has forks that move the gears. sometimes the forks wear out and it can cause the gears to wear out because the gears are not going into like they are suppose to. leave comment..

Suddenly lost power in any forward gear or reverse after 600 mile trip in 1994 Roadmaster estate. After leaving engine off for a few minutes and turning it on, it moves forward/back for a few minutes...

Will it idle normally? Will it move in gear slowly? If it is only affected when you try to move faster it could be a plugged catalytic converter. Or a bad throttle position sensor. Not sure.

My manual transmission is not going in to gear and it has a new cluch and slave and its stuck in gear and i have bleed the cluch and it is like its stuck between two gears what could be the problum

take the 3 screws for the shifter off remove the shifter and get a flash light and makes sure the grooves are in line for the shifter. if not you can use a screw driver to move them and get them in line. that should work for you. i hope this was helpful

My 2002 Mercury Sable will not go forward or reverse. Driving down the road and it just stopped moving. No transmission problems at all, or any other kind of problems. Car just won't move. Axle is still...

Well it can be the transmission problem but it can also be the breaks Jaming problem of therefore I would need you to tell me when you put on the gear and put off your feet slowly from cluch does it get engine off or keep accelerating?

Cluch won't dis engage

How long have you had your car? How many miles on it?

Maybe the clutch plate gone, if the plate is not thick enough, you won't change the gear.
