Question about 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer

1 Answer

No air flow from middle level vents

I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LT. The climate control is all electronic. When I turn on the AC, I get cold air flow at my feet and through the defrosterand no flow through the mid level vents. They are all open. Are the vents vacuum controlled or do I have a blown fuse?

2004 impala ss duel climate control , drives cold & passengers hot with heat on

Usually a problem with the temp controller or a blend door.
The blend doors control air flow thru the heater and ac evaporator along with the vents.

1997 toyota camry climate control switch or servo not working fully

Blend doors not working. They are controlled electronically by small motors. Could also be something fell down in a vent and is blocking it from it's full range of motion.

I changed the battery in my 2004 Chevy Tahoe today. When I started it up, the air from the A/C did not blow out the main vents on the front dash. Cold air still flows up the front window and the ceiling...

I recently had the same problem with my 04 Silverado 2500HD after I replaced the battery. I am guessing that you have dual climate contol. You need to reset the climate control. I reset mine by simply shutting the AC off when truck is running and parked. Then turn off the truck
and pull the AC and HVAC fuses out of the fuse box. Leave them out a few seconds and put them back in. Start the vehicle and leave the AC off for about a minute, then turn it on. This should fix the problem. If not, try it again. If still not, you might have to do the same thing except unhook the battery at the same time you pull the fuses. Good luck.
It worked for me.

My lesabre blows warm air on driver side cool air on passenger side

If you have dual climate control, you most likely have a low freon level. The evaporator can get cold enough for the passenger side (where the evaporator is located), but not cold enough to transfer cold air to the passenger side. Have it inspected for a leak and the freon level topped off.

04 Chevy Tahoe Climate control issues.

HVAC control head problem or it is the air Temp Control Valve problem. THe control head is the one with the buttons and knobs and the control vavle is located on the HVAC carrier assembly underneath dashboard (two of them one on left and one on right in center). This is a job for someone who has knowledge of HVAC and electrical on a GM vehicle.

A/c blower issue. 2202 chevy trailblazer

your blower resistor bad or the blower motor control switch is bad. no air flow from top vent make sure vent open.because you can manual adjust them not to blow air on you.if all is good.you have leaking vacuum hose or vacuum actuator.or air door stuck.the AC and HEATER control switch.is bad.its not allowing vacuum to open air door.
