I can't get the front differential out of my 1995 S-10 pickup. It is free from all other parts (axles, u-joint, frame, etc), but I cannot get it to drop. Do I need to lift the engine to create the space needed? I'm stuck and have exhausted every idea. Please comment, I'm at wits end.

Yes you need to lift the engine a bit to get that front differential out, the best way is to take the center bolts out for the motor mounts (i'm pretty sure its set up that way) if its not, just un-bolt the mounts lift the engine with a jack and a block of wood, make sure the jack is supporting the engine before you unbolt the mounts, lift up untill you can wiggle the differential out, it takes some effort and twisting/turning the diff. to get it to come out,

Front differential is the gears themselfe. If it's a gear problem, take it to a shop.Otherwise, there's not enough space here to post the rest.Best you go to PepBoys and get a Hanes Manual for that truck.I'm a Toyota man,it's what I run,and I have a few Hanes manuals for them all.

There is a drain plug and a upper fill plug on the front differential, and believe it's in the passenger side. but i could be wrong on the side. The age thing but you can see both of the plug than you need to drain and re-fill.

My 89 chevy s-10 pickup 4 wheel drive doesnt work. the transfer case goes into gear but the front hubs seem like they dont lock in i was told it was a fuse or a vaccuum line but i have never heard of...

On the 1989 s10 it has a vacuum actuator that actually locks the front differential in ,you need to check that first, those go bad real often, and without it. There's no way it will lock in the axle, the transfer case will lock in ,but the front differential uses a actuator. It 's located under the battery tray and there is a cable towards the front of the differential. Id say the actuator cable has gone out, most parts stores can get you one ,that what goes wrong with those 99% of the time and it only takes about 5 minutes to change it out. Good luck but check the vacuum line to the actuator under the battery tray.

Trying to find out how much oil the Triton V-10 takes when I do my oil change? I cant seem to find it or anyone who knows

It should be listed in the owners manual, but because of different oil cooler setups you may have to do the change yourself and add oil until the correct level is established..... for the first oil change.
Most likely 7 liters, but start with 5,run the engine to fill the oil filter, let it sit for 5 mins and recheck and fill to full.
Note the amount needed for next time.

Front axle differential on 2000 chevy silverado leaking oil out of vent .the differential is not overfilled.

Your pickup leaks just like everyone elses. what you need to do is go down to your local parts store and get an inline fuel filter (your local chevy dealer should also have these available just for this problem), preferably see thru then, where your vent runs up the inner fender cut the line about 4 inches down from the vent and install the filter. this will cure your problem
