If it starts while spraying starting fluid into the throtle body, I would say the pump is not running. Listen carefully at the fuel tank while someone turns the key to "ON". The pump should run for 5 seconds & stop. If it does this, it says the pump is working. Check fuse and relay too.

My 2000 cam will not start i just put a new fuelpump on it and it ack like it want to start but it dont ..

after putting on the fuel pump did you check to see if the engine was getting fire? if not mistaken i think that car is equipped with individual coil packs, you will need to test them and see if that is where the problem lies.

Have a 97 Grand Voyager i just bought yesterday. Started and ran perfectly fine. I got up this morning and now it won't start. Starter turns just fine and fuel pump does come on.

You would need to check the fuel pressure but try turning the key on and off a few times, this will prime the fuel system, if the fuelpump has a bad check valve it will drain the fuel down and then it will take a few trys to start, but if you tried starting it a few times then thats not the problem. you hear the pump but this doesnt mean its putting out enough pressure, try holding the gas pedal down and trying to start it and see, maybe its flooded. good luck.

Gmc yukon turns but will not start dont hear the fuel pump on in the fuel tank

With ignition key on run, use test light to verify you have positive & ground to fuelpump. No power (positive) check fuelpump fuse. No ground check fuelpump relay. If both positive & ground fuelpump needs to be replaced.

I am not getting fuel on 1988 toyota pick up. I dont think I am getting power to fuel pump. will start with starting fluid.

test for power at the pump, it souds like a bad fuelpump to me. have someone turn the key while you check for power at the pump if theres power then the pump is bad, also make sure it has a good ground.
