My front brakes recently siezes and i got new rotors, pads and calipers as well as a flush. i continued on my trip for 6 hours and it happened again but i parked it and brought it to a shop the next day. it had cooled and they said they couldnt find a problem so i drove another 4 hours, checking every hour to see if they were getting hot. they remained cool but i started to get a red break light as i got to town. fluid is full and rotors are cool. any suggestions?

This one had me stumped for a while. The above solution should work. The reason a brake hose can cause this is that if they over-crimp the piece of metal in the middle of the brake hose that holds it in place and/or the rubber in the hose swells too much as it ages, the passage through the hose can close off where it goes through that metal piece. Once this happens, the brake brake fluid can still force its way through the hose when you step on the brake, but the caliper will be unable to fully release. This will overheating everything and cause the brake pads to wear very quickly.

If the ABS lite is comming on, the module is detecting a problem in that system. There will most likely be a code in the computer. take it to your dealer and have it check. The most common problem i see in these is a failed speed sensor.

there is a clip inside the cap, you need to remove the cap. you can use a small screwdriver to pry it up or tap it with a rubber mallet.make sure to reset the bearing after you are done and use alot of grease. tighten the nut and spin the tiretight. then back off to put the pin back... kindly rank me
