Yellow is the left turn signal, White is ground, Dark Green is the right turn signal, Brown is the running lights and brake light, the others are for the electric brake set up for the trailer.

Ask dealer if it has a towing package on it. If it does, you usually just pop fuse in under hood for electric brakes, and harness to adapt into is usually near or at rear bumper. Even if it doesn't have brake wire, you should still be able to install adapter at rear, for lights etc. which is available from dealer or auto supply places, then you may have to run electric brakes separate.

on most new trucks there is a wiring harness that has a cover over it that you plug a extension into. Look for that first. If you can't find it I would go to the dealer and ask them to make sure that you don't cut wires you don't have too and end up with a mess.

What is the cold wire in a 2013 Holden Colorado brake pedal

Wiring diagrams and colors change from one vehicle to another or over model years. If you don't have access to the detailed schematic, try to find the connector by the brake pedal under the driver side dash, or elsewhere at the back of the vehicle pull the plug that feeds brake lights (or a trailer plug) - use a circuit tester (cheap part, store purchase) and test each wire - the one that gives you power ONLY when pressing on the brakes should be the cold side wire. Another way would be to pull a rear light identify the brake light, see which is "ground" and which feeds current to the brake light. That current wire will usually have the same color stripe identification from front to rear.

I need a color to color diagram for a 92 chevy 1500 for wiring in a trailer.

When installing the kit, follow the manufacturer's instructions. The color coding of the wires is usually standard throughout the industry. One point to note: some domestic vehicles, and most imported vehicles, have separate turn signals. On most domestic vehicles, the brake lights and rear turn signals operate with the same bulb. For those vehicles without separate turn signals, you can purchase an isolation unit so that the brake lights won't blink whenever the turn signals are operated.

My 1984 ford econoline has Chevy taillights and i need a wiring chart to get taillights lights back on.

Right off the bat, I don't think you'll ever find a wiring diagram for taillights on two completely different makes of vehicles.

Best suggestion is to get a 12 volt test light and one by one check the wires going to the rear of you vehicle. Start by turning the parking lights on and then probing all the wires (one at a time) to see where voltage is present. Make a list of the colors of the wires associated with a particular action. Do the same for brake light, back up lights, and turn signals (both left and right).

Once you have established this base of info, start touching a wire (say, the left turn signal) to wires in your taillight assembly until you get the desired reaction in the Chevy taillight. Again, make a note of what combination of wires produces what result. Be patient and you can work your way thru this and get it to all function the way you want.

I have A 2000 Chevy 3500 Express Van and the brake

Hi,

When you said that you checked the brake switch, did you check it live? Meaning verified live power to the switch, press switch, and then power came out the other terminal?

If so, also verify zero power on brake press, at the offending brake light bulb terminal. You must verify the test light each time you move it...leave running lights on...

After verifying that there is no power coming, after the brake is pressed, note the wire color and find it where it comes to the steering column and test there... This would eliminate wires and connections between front and the rear of the vehicle, unlikely, but needs to be tested.

After verifying no power at that terminal, then yes the t/s switch is certainly suspece. This may be the time to get a mechanic to verify and replace the switch, there are locks, tilt mechanisms, air bags, column bearings, etc involved. Failures risk loss of vehicle control (locking or binding for example.)..

Hope this gets you going in the right direction.
