2001 GMC Sierra cuts out when I drive and I make a left turn, it just dies out and I have to restart it. Anyone had a similar problem or has any solutions?

If it does not do this with a full gas tank i suspect you have a problem with a (somewhat famous now) the GMC fuel pump that is located in fuel tank (i guess you missed the recall on these) , because it does restart right after it stalls out correct ?

Rack pinion steering

There is a steering arm joining the two front wheels, if the tie rod ends have come loose it may result in only one wheel turning.

Stalls when backing and turning whhel to the left

That could be a power steering pressure switch not working all of the time. It tells the ECM to raise the idle when turning the wheels from left to right.

My 1996 nissan sentra runs good but when i come to a stop and turn steering wheel the idle drops and stalls a little , almost shuts down . Is there a quick solution ?

sounds like your power steering idle up switch is not working. Rpms should go up when you used your steering. Rhere is a switch built into the power steering system to raise rpms when you are turning steering wheel. It looks like it has a problem.

Locked up Steering Wheel

Your Wheels may not be straight which could cause the steering wheel lock to get stuck. Turn the steering wheel left and right, from one stop to the other, watching how far the wheel travels. Now, turn the wheel to the center of the travel distance and turn the key. If this doesn't free it up, turn the key as you turn the steering wheel left then right to get the lock to release the wheel. Hope this helps and please rate my solution - and thanks for using Fixya!!
