SOURCE: What are lubrication requirements for 2008 Toyota Avalon XLS?

Your Avalon uses 5-30 oil, 6qt with filter. Trans is Toyota's WS(world standard) ATF(there is no dipstick) There are no grease fittings on the car.
All the maintenance schedules are listed in the owners manual per mileage.

SOURCE: what is the toyota number for the cabin air

The cabin air filter is actually pretty easy to change. Here are the steps:

  1. Set the air conditioning system to Recirculation. The case for the cabin air cannot be removed with the system in the Outside Air mode.
  2. Turn the engine off.
  3. Open the Glove Compartment
  4. unclip the damper rod on the ride side of the glove compartment. To unclip it usually it is just a squeeze tab but sometimes it is a phillips head screwdriver.
  5. The glove compartment now must be squeezed together at the rear to allow the tabs to be released. Just let the glove compartment hang down.
  6. Through the glove compartment opening, locate the filter cover and remove.
  7. Remove dirty filter and replace with the new and reverse steps 1-5 to put it back together.
Shouldnt take to long usually takes me about 5 minutes to change it.

As for the toyota cabin air number im not to sure on that but you can go to any parts store and pick up an aftermarket cabin air which will save you a bit of money, same quality..

SOURCE: How do I replace the

The expansion valve is located at the evaporator which is under the dashboard at the passenger side. You will have to remove the glove compartment and the ECU brackets to get to the blower assembly which pulls out and down to be able to access the evaporator and the expansion valve.

The clutch was bad- i took out the old ac compressor and bought a new compressor/clutch . there is no oil added to this one- so what type/how much, etc. also do the condensors need to be replaced or any...

na you dont have to change condenser if it was not leaking.was their gas in the system when you remove the ac copmressor.and for the oil,the ac man should pump the oil when he fills the gas in the system.

How can I disconnect the a/c compressor?

if the compressor is cycling all the time like its low on freon then just unplug the electrical connector on the compressor itself. if its locked up, you would have to buy a drive belt for the same car that didnt have ac if toyota made and avalon that didnt. and possibly remove the compressor if its in the way
