Question about 1990 Honda Accord
I have a 1990 honda accord the problem is it won't start , i have check the timing belt , fuses, main relay, distributor what could it be ...it was driving fine no problems woke up this morning get in car try to start it no go
Hi...my name is Keith...if you will pull a spark plug out and see if you are getting spark to the spark plug..and if you are getting spark... you can rule out the ignition....and i would look towards the fuel pump... and a fuel pump relay(if it is fuel injected)

Make sure your fuel pump is working. when you first turn the igition to on ... one step before the start position, you should get a whirring sound from your fuel pump... tricky to hear, drop the back seat down and get rid of all other noise. such as door chime. if the whir doesn't occur then chances are the weather is hot and your relay under the dash tucked up high beside your fusebox would be the culprit. if not then your ignition coil or fuel delivery. but try that one first...especially if the car starts cold and will not start until it's been sitting for a while
