Question about 1998 Isuzu Rodeo
My battery wouldn't charge, so I replaced it. Still won't charge so I took the alternator to Auto Zone. It checked out OK. Is there a separate voltage regulator on the Rodeo ? Or, are the diodes located elsewhere, I don't see the normal "round things" on the outside of the alternator. If so, does anyone know where the regulator/diodes are ?
The only indication I get is a brake/charge light at idle RPM's. Thanks.
You have the check the alternator charging out put while vehicle is running to see if alternator is putting out charge bench testing the alternator will
not solve the problem
