No cam bushings in the single or twin cam engine. knock may be number 4 rod.Or piston slap when cold, or worn high miles. also if its a stick shift if you push the clutch in will the noise stop? if so the thrust bearing on the crank is bad.

Tapping noise

Have the cam followers checked . Have the rocker shafts and bushes checked for wear . have a compression test done as there may be a loose valve seat insert.

2004 GMC Z71 1500 makes growling noise from tail of transmission while in 2wd or 4wd.

Is it a auto or manuel ****** , but either way it sounds like either the rear bushing is worn or the bearing or even possibly the u-joint .......

I have a squeek in the back between the driveshaft and the rear differential what do you think that might be?

Sounds like you need to lubracate your u joints Also check your Carrier bearing when lubeing. Try to turn side to side If you have much slack you need new u joints, If moves up-down may need a new carrier bearring.Best of luck to you.Hope this helps some.

Noise from rear suspension on 2003 Honda Odyssey.

a clunking clanging noise sounds very much like your stabilizer bar end links and bushings. you have a thin rear "sway" bar on the rear of your odyssey. this can cause a whole lot of noise. grab each side and pull/push. if it feals loose, replace the end links and bushings.
