Nocking sound coming from rear cam shaft,sounds like mabe acam bushing might be going out

No cam bushings in the single or twin cam engine. knock may be number 4 rod.Or piston slap when cold, or worn high miles. also if its a stick shift if you push the clutch in will the noise stop? if so the thrust bearing on the crank is bad.

Tapping noise


Have the cam followers checked . Have the rocker shafts and bushes checked for wear . have a compression test done as there may be a loose valve seat insert.

Is it a auto or manuel ****** , but either way it sounds like either the rear bushing is worn or the bearing or even possibly the u-joint .......

I have a squeek in the back between the driveshaft and the rear differential what do you think that might be?


Sounds like you need to lubracate your u joints Also check your Carrier bearing when lubeing. Try to turn side to side If you have much slack you need new u joints, If moves up-down may need a new carrier bearring.Best of luck to you.Hope this helps some.

Noise from rear suspension on 2003 Honda Odyssey.


a clunking clanging noise sounds very much like your stabilizer bar end links and bushings. you have a thin rear "sway" bar on the rear of your odyssey. this can cause a whole lot of noise. grab each side and pull/push. if it feals loose, replace the end links and bushings.

fuel and spark are great but are you getting air? sounds to me if u did a head job possible that cam sensor could be the issue or possible mass air as well i would check those compnents but also check basic starting compnents as well plugs wires ignition start batter connectors and air

Drive shaft hits under the car...rear part of the middle of the rear end


the carrier bearing needs replacing you can't fix it you can get the replacement at a drivetrain componants store in your area make sure you take the drive shaft and bear with you so they can match it properly. please rate this............thanks
