Question about 2002 Chevrolet S-10
IT IS A 2002 CHEVY S10 PICKUP TRUCK WITH V6 ENG.
WHERE IS THE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR AT AND HOW HARD IS IT TO INSTALL .THANKS ROY
It can be a real pain if the bolts have rusted and if I remember correctly it's hard to get to but if your going to do it is best to buy a manual. Unless you have ever done one I would have to type all day to go threw the procedure. Go to http://www.alldatadiy.com and get a subscription, and if you got a code for cam sensor, it may not mean the cam sensor is bad you need to understand the engine management system to correctly fix it without replacing parts needlessly and you need to have a digital ohm meter to test the computer components or you could destroy componets with a old style analog meter. It is money well spent on the manual so that you don't destroy the computer or buy more parts than you need.
