It could be the fuel filter or a bad fuel pump, lets start with the simple and replace the fuel filter and if you go to Auto Zone you can lone out e fuel pressure gauge. Check the fuel pressure at the shredder valve to make sure you have the right amount of fuel pressure, Auto Zone will have the step by step instruction for you check the fuel pressure to your trailblazer. You should loose a little through the lines and the filter itself. When you replace the filter, turn your key on and wait about 6 seconds before cranking. This will allow the fuel pump to force fuel through the empty new filter. You will still experience a small delay when cranking until the air passes through the line.
