Would a fuel pressure regulator for a 2004 Mazda 3 make it not start?

I would have to say no it shouldn't keep it from starting .Running really bad yes .
If your sure you are getting a good spark ever a weak spark it should start .
I would check all fuel filters first .you should have a main filter in the fuel line between the pump and the engine likely under the vehicle in the main line .
Find out from the dealer or a manual how much fuel the fuel pump is supposed to deliver liters per min or gal. remove the front line hold a plastic bottle over the filter turn the key to run not start see how much fuel you get in 30 seconds .Then double it to figure out how much fuel is past the filter .We know the pump is good .
This will tell you a lot and won't cost anything but your time .

Replace fuel pump in mazda truck B2300 1996

I have seen when the fuel pump goes out, it will suck.junk up in the lines and.clog the fuel filter, so maybe.try changing that first.

did you plug.all the.wires back pump,.do you hear the.fuel pump run when you turn your the on position? now if you push your gas pedal to the.floor this will stop the.fuel from being pumped, have you checked to.see if you have fuel pressure in the.fuel rails, by either a fuel gauge, or be pressing in the Schrader valve ?\'

Change the fuel pump gas gauge was working before after changing the fuel pump gauge stop working

i presume it was an all in one set up, pump and gauge, check you have the gauge adjusted to the right setting and plugged in around the fuel pump.

Where is the fuel pump on a mazda protege 93?

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. You have to remove the tank to get the pump out. I would check the fuel pressure with a gauge to make sure the pump was out just to be sure. Changing the pump is a lot of work, and checking the fuel pressure will let you know if you need a new pump.

I just replaced my fuel pump in my 1998 mazda b3000 se extend cab and now almost 9 months later im replacing it again what should i do is there something else going on

make sure the fuel tank is spotless clean. check the filter of the old pump, and see if theres any dirt/metal in the screen. Are you using quality parts, or cheap parts from ottozone or other such quality . make sure the electrical connections are clean and no sign of heat damage.

Gas cuts out when i am driving then comes back. i got new catalytic converter. is it the fuel pump or fuel filter? help me please

One might consider changing the fuel pump and fuel filter to try to get rid of the lack of gas problem.

If the fuel pump is changed, the filter is a logical thing to change at the same time.

Good luck on this repair.
