In the middle of the left and right side(not the middle of the seat), you will feel it has wire"clips," holding the seat in place. using both hands on either side of these clips, pull the seat upward, sometimes force is needed. start by one side, then move to the next side. Once the front is clipped out, you slightly tilt the seat up and pull it forward.
Heck for 2 bolts at the lower edge near the floor if no bolts push lower seat inwards and lift up it should pop up , use a large screwdriver.

I have the same car and had the same problem with the engine wanting to stall out, I ran fuel injector cleaner through it and also an octane booster, i also changed out my plugs and wires and belts because i was also having the occasional squealing sound after i did all of that all of the problems have stopped and now my car runs like a champ

Sounds to me like a fuel related problem. When heavy accelerating more fuel is pushed through the system. I would check the fuel filter, and its possible its the fuel pump, but usually once the pump starts acting up, within a few days it will go out all together.

the best thing you can do is go to an autoparts store and purchase a haynes repair manual for your car. cost about $18, but will show you everything you need to know, with pictures.

fuse or wire harness, checked the voltage present in the fittings? Switch on before checking.

Yes, I experienced the same thing with mine... you have to losen the 2 motor mounts on that side and lift the motor up about 3 ". I worked at a garage so I had access to an engine hoist. Try using a jack from underneath. Nice engineering from Mazda!!!
