Why is the display not working on my 2006 e.b. expedition?

Quit typing in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and RUDE. It is also harder to read!

This seldom works, and the reason is because the radio system and steering wheel controls are monitored and operated by the Body Control Module on the 5 volt Can Bus System. When you connect your new Android box, the computer won't have a clue what is going on! Be prepared for a whole heap of trouble.

Some radios have a fuse inside them also.
I've found car radio's in general to be not so very good.
I'd not pitch it out until you can find someone reliable to test it.
Watch out though, some folks have a "vested interest".
That means they want to sell you a new one.
Be blessed.

Most likely the bulb went out. Just pop out the panel and replace it.

Probably loss of power. The radio uses two circuits, one for the radio and one for memory which would also power the display.
Could be a short in the circuit board in the radio too.

have you subscribed to the satellite srvice that your radio has ? sirius or xm radio? the only way to get these channels is to pay a monthly subscription

check the manual for fuses and check the radio fuse first
