The compressor's oil is mixed with and circulates with the refrigerant. R134a refrigerant can be purchased with or without oil mixed into it. There are also separate oil 'chargers' that inject oil without the refrigerant.

You should have put it in before you installed it. It goes in the suction port of the compressor. Did the new compressor come with a bottle of oil? If it did not, it may have already been in the unit. Did you flush the system first to remove debris and old oil? If you have already installed the unit you can buy a tool to push the oil in on the low side service connection. Read the literature that came with it, it should fill you in on all this stuff.

Where do I fill the transfer case oil on a 91 geo metro

There is a large fill plug on the side of the transfer case. You will need to do this from under the vehicle.

What name brand and type of strut (gas vs. oil) would be best to replace old ones in a 1999 Honda CRV? Does Nappa make any really good ones?

whether you have a 91 Geo or a 99 Honda you should look around for a QUIK STRUT. this includes a new upper strut bearing and a new coil spring, both of which are also due on a car that age. the labor to install a quik strut will be lower as the old ones are simply discarded. NAPA sells parts that other companies make, it does not make its own line of parts even if it says NAPA on the box. You can find a monroe quik strut on eBay cheaper than through a NAPA dealer.

I need a belt diagram for a 91 Geo Metro. I am replacing the alternator belt, but need to get the first belt off.I do not know where the belt tension adjustment bolt is for the first belt.

I believe the air conditioner belt tensioner bolt is underneath the mounting bracket on the compressor, then you can remove the alternator belt by loosening the two bolts from underneath on the alternator then loosen the top bolt and be careful prying the alternator inward to loosen the belt you can short a wire connection. Remove one of the battery cables to be safe!
