If the noise is a clicking sound, try running the fan at different speeds to see if the noise gets faster or slower with the fan speed. If so,there 'may' be some debris in the fan housing(leaf, piece of paper etc.)If this is the case its an easy fix.The fan has 100's of small blades and its them flicking on the debris.

I had the same noise on my 2000 Viggen. Its a $150 part its the interior fan. Dealer has them in stock it has to do with your climate control.

It might be a restricted or dirty blower motor. Is your heater or ac running? If so, turn it off to see if the noise goes away.

Clicking noise when heater is turned on

Does it do it with the A/C too?? If so it could be a broken fan wheel in the blower.. or a piece of trash in the blower housing.. like a leaf.. Post a comment so we know what you find..

Probably the bearings in the compressor have failed. If so, you will need to replace it.

2000 Chevy Malibu making knocking sound when AC is on

Is it noisy with only the blower fan on or does the A/C have to be on to get the noise.
Try using the heater only and see if the noise is present.
Let me know.

Clicking sound on passanger side of GMC Envoy

The fan assembly moved out of position during impact. Loosen the assembly, and remove for inspection. Sometimes leaves or debris come out of a vent during impact, and lie against the rotating squirrel cage assembly---thus the annoying noise.
