2003 Nissan Pathfinder blower motor will not work.

I replaced the blower motor, but after replaceing it didn't work, so i then replaced the relay, still no luck. All of the fuses are good and the display on the automatic air control shows the fan as running. The
compressor works fine.
any sugestions?

My 2001 Nissan pathfinder heater will not turn off. A/c worked fine and did come on one time when tryed but the heats up now at any setting and is extremely hot.

There are three culprits that may cause this.

1:Many people have great luck with replacing the resistor unit for the blower motor. While I cannot guarantee this is the issue you have, it is the most common. (Approx $45. )
eBay link.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Heater-Blower-Motor-Resistor-For-Nissan-Pathfinder-Xterra-Titan-Pickup-Truck-/131110853460?hash=item1e86d0db54&vxp=mtr

2: Others have luck when replacing the actual Plastic switch inside. This runs about $50

3: Then there is the blower motor amplifier.. (approx $110)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NISSAN-PATHFINDER-BLOWER-MOTOR-AMPLIFIER-POWER-MODULE-1996-2004-/231422243697?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35e1d73371&vxp=mtr

Your service manual will show location of these items or a quick search online for schematic for your model will produce results to assist you from here.

Hope this helps.

For the screeching noise you need to replace the blower motor and for the blower motor speed you need to replace the blower motor resistor.

Nissan Terrano - the fan inside the car only works on full power - the fuse blew which I changed after cold snowy weather. How can I get the fan to work properly? Sarah, England

Sounds like an issue with the blower motor relay. Would recommend replacement of the relay and the blower motor it self. When a blower motor starts to fail, it will pull a lot of current through the resistor causing damage and not allowing it to work properly.

My fan control dial only works at full speed and the other 3 don't work now. what do I have to do ?

the blower motor resistor board has failed.relatively inexpensive and easy to replace.dealer only part.its located next to the blower motor and is held in by two phillips head screws.the only word of caution i will give you is that if it fails again in a short period of time you should replace blower motor as it is drawing too much amperage and damaging resistors.

I have a 1999 pathfinder, the blower for the heat/ ac does not work. Is it the blower amp?

More than likely it is the blower relay under the dash on the passenger side. Sometimes you can whack the dash next to the glove box and the fan will come on. If this is the case, then it is the relay.
