2005 Honda Civic hybrid front right brake keeps locking up I've replaced pads and rebuilt the caliper. The front right side is the only one locking up

check the brake flex hose on that side for an internal problem with it like separating and not allowing the fluid to return/release.

Right brake locks up when applied i have new brake shoes on brake shoes are on the right way

The longer brake shoe goes ot the back side of the vehicle. If you replaced the front brakes did you replace the rubber brake line going to the caliper? Some times they collapse inside creating a one way valve that will not allow the hydraulic pressure to release. You mention brake shoes - don't know if you mean pads as on the front of most vehicles. (some vehicles have disc brakes all around) You don't say if front or back brakes are the culprit. Hope this helps. Let me know. Thanks.

When applying brake pedal in a quick stop seems the front right wheel is locking up what could be the problem

Sounds like the right front brake caliper is locking up. Make sure they change the brake hose, when you have the caliper replaced. Both sides should be done at the same time, along with the brake hoses and pads. They will also have to check the rotors, due to the heat from the brake locking up, they warp and may not be reusable.

It also sounds like a more likely problem is a seized caliper on the left side. If a caliper seizes, the braking system transfers the pedal pressure to the other caliper thus, the working caliper locks up. Pull both front wheels and look carefully at the wear on the pads. Both wheels should have the same amount of wear. If one side is worn more than the other, the side with the least wear is seized and needs to be changed.
Never heard of a hydraulic repostioning valve, but maybe with ABS there is one. I do know of a proportioning valve which apportions brake pressure front to back and also blocks braking to front or back in the event of brake line failure. Maybe see which he is talking about, should be able to explain the difference. Hope this helps.

Caliper won't release on right front brake--everything is new, replaced because of that problem but no fix

Check the left rear brake for sticking on also, if it is then you have a master cylinder problem. replace brake master cylinder but check the adjustment of the brake light switch first. the switch is above the brake pedal, make sure it is not holding the pedal partially on.

Front brakes locking up

Sounds like the front brake hoses went bad on you. Fluid goes into the calipers and builds up pressure, and applies the brakes, because the fluid can't come back out of the calipers. Usually when hoses go, they tear on the inside, creating a one way valve type of flap. I hope that this helped. Best wishes to ya.
