Without a scan tool you may have to guess which it sounds like you have been.I would say from what you say happened and what you have replaced that you are looking at a crank sensor or a PCM issue. I would look at having a scan tool hooked up to see if you have communication with the PCM or ECM and if so what codes are present. in todays computer controlled vehicles the scan tool is you best friend it can point you in the right direction from the beginning. hope this is helpful.

P.S. you might check fuel pressure its a long shot but tha did cross my mind.

You don't say what size engine the vehicle has. If it is the 4-clyinder, you may have a broken or stripped timing belt.

SOURCE: Car dies at random moments

I just had this problem and replaced the camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, and coolant temp sensor. i replaced these items because of high mileage. try these but first check your relays located under the hood on the passenger side. sometimes they get hot and fail.

SOURCE: just brought a 95 jeep

Try locking and unlocking the drivers door using the key. Usually that will re-set the security system. Also try the rear hatch lock as sometimes that is used instead of driver door.

SOURCE: JEEP STOPPED RUNNING WHILE DRIVING WILL ONLY CRANK

The Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

Check for spark, check fuel pressure. Do you hear the pump turn on for 2 or 3 seconds with key on, not start? Have you tried the resetting with the pump temp sensor again?

Check the fuel pump for pressure and volume. I had an Accord with the same symptoms. It would pump the proper volume when measured at the ground, but would not pump the fuel up high enough on the car, so it would fail on hilly sections.

Look at the fuel pump as your problem. When you first get into car listen for pump. Have someone put their next to the fill cap and have them listen for a hum. If no hum bad fuel pump.
