Brake lights do not work & with signal on I press brake & signal stops flashing but let off & they flash but still no brake lights. The bulbs are good& I tried new brake switch

Ernest, a lot of the time when this happens it is telling you the bulb burnt out or wire/socket is faulty(bulbs can look OK so it is best to test them if you can). Check/clean for corroded ground wires in that area also. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

You put in the wrong bulb and it's feeding back.

Sounds as if the bulbs are bad, but could also be a failed multi-purpose switch.

Fast flashing dash signals mean there is a bulb issue-DEFINATELY!

My first guess would be a ground problem. The bulbs are mounted in plastic sockets and grounded to the car by a black wire. If one socket is not grounded it will try to ground thru a different socket.
I would check for voltage and ground on each socket in the back.

you are describing a typical turn signal switch problem, all those systems run through this switch, its about a 110 dollar part

That has a double filament bulb in it. One is for the tail light and the other for the brake and maybe the turn signal. If your turn signal flashes the tail light and not an individual turn signal bulb it will behave the same way. The way it works is that the tail light filament goes off and the brighter brake light filament comes on. The brake light half of the bulb is out. If you change it, change the passenger side too, it will do the same shortly if you leave it in. They tend to go bad in pairs. Good luck.

Sounds like you need to replace the drivers brake/tail light.

Igot the same problem on left side.The problem was the convertor for the trailler plug.
