Question about 1999 Acura CL
The car just totally shuts down randomly while driving under any condition of load. Usually it will restart by placing the ignition switch to the "Start" position for a moment or so. Is there some circuit Breaker or relay that might cause this and if so where might it be? The car currently has 150,000 miles on it and has not been abused.
I had the same problem with my 99 cl, it was the ignition, computer was not reading key in ignition. This was fixed by dealer, It was fixed under a recall notice, see if your vechicle is on the recall list

Check the main relay under the dash and behind the steering wheel. It is RZ-0088 and measures 2.5x1.25x1.5 and is held on by a nib that you slip a flat piece of metal between the metal housing and slide the relay up. Don't tug on the wires. There are other postings to show you how to re-solder the connections or just replace.
