Question about 2001 Ford Taurus
I changed plugs, fuel filter, and the egr valve. its engine light is on and obd2 says misfire cyl 3. i'm thinking the wires maybe but they looked ok at inspection when plugs were put in last month. also why would ac make it jump even worse. This all occurs at the idle and after warms up isn't too bad unless excellerating up a hill???? Please Help, i don't have enough money to take it to ford dealership. Thanks Tim
The a/c makes it worse because you are asking the engine to pull a load missing one cylinder. If you have alternate transport or like working on a hot engine you can take number 3 wire to the autoparts and get one wire to match length. You may want 1 plug in case wire doesn't help.
