My dash light just stopped working on my 99 deville

That is an easy fix, it is one of two issues.
(1) Check the fuse for the dash lights. If the fuse is ok , it will be (2) burnt out bulbs. For #2 - you have to remove the bezel surrounding the dash cluster. Then look to see if the bulbs are good or have burnt out. The new bulbs are available at almost any auto parts store.

The fuse box under the dash board is marked as turn signal which is normally a 15 amps fuse.
Using a good light you can look into each fuse to see the burnt on as being tranparent the wire will be burnt if the fuse has blown.

I have no headlights or my dash board light isnt working

check all fuses, all relays under the hood and inside the jeep,if all is fine then it could be the light switch, which can be replaced, and most weird yet it could be the ignition moduel(sometimes a wire will get burnt in the plastic)mine did so i pulled the wire and cut the plastic and crimped on a connector.

Light in the dash board is on: light is a car with beams off the rear of the car. What is this? (1995 toyota camry dx)

Tail light burnt out indicator probably....tells you that there is a rear light burnt out....possibly the brake light.

Have some one check all the light while you sit in car with the lights turned on, and then when you press the brake pedal.

Need to replace burnt out dash board lights 2001 Toyota Corolla

Just remove the 4 screws and then slowly pull the cluster out and reach behind and disconnect the plugs on the back of the unit and then remove the cluster. The bulbs can be removed by turning them and pulling out.
