Question about 2003 Pontiac Montana
Garage mech. told me that if fuel gage not working the fuel pump is going to go next also. I can live with gage not working and know km to see how much gas is left, but I scared fuel pump might go also. My montana has 180,000km
The fuel tank sending unit is defective in your van, this has nothing to do with the fuel pump going out, this was a 100% incorrect statement by the shop that said this, but do understand that if you pull the fuel tank to repair the defective sender for the gas guage u might as well replace the fuel pump which also is in the fuel tank, they (the pump) are are getting worn out at about the miles you have on this car.
