Question about 2005 Dodge Caravan

Headlights will not come on 2007 Caravan

Headlights will not come on. By switching on and off several (many) times they will finally come on. On 2 occations they have cut off while driving! Both times a single toggling of the switch restored the lights. I think the problem may be with the delay circuit that cuts off the lights off after 10 min. of sitting without the ignition on...just a hunch.

Could be. You also may want to check the wiring going into your switch. Your switch could also be going out. It sounds like a wiring issue to me.

Check the fuse for the headlights. There is also a relay for the lights. Wiggle the headlight switch.

Is there a fuse for the low beams on a 2007 dodge caravan? i've never lost both low beams at the same time before and just wanted to check fuses before tackling bulb replacement.i've checked the owner's...

Without standing there. Sound like the Multi-function switch. This is the switch that turn your HI beams & turn signals. Play with the switch on/off to see if you can get them to change to lows. I would still change the switch. To change. disconnect the neg. batt cable, remove the 3 bolts from under the steering column cover & remove. Disconnect the elec conntector. Remove the 2 screws holding the switch.

2007 Caravan. Headlights just quit. High beams still work, so do the day lights. As soon as I turn the headlamps, they go out. Relay?

The mechanic should check on the the relay and the fuse as well as the wire connection of the head light to the switch .Then look if there is a loose wires that are not being connected to the head light switch. You have to do it for these may come to an end that the entire head light will totally turn of because looses connection or worn out fuse or relay and wires .

Headlights won't come on intermittently 2005 Dodge Caravan

Quite possibly the switch, Dodge minivans also have a front control module located under the hood, it attaches directly to the underhood fusebox, if a switch doesn't fix it I would look there.

2007 dodge caravan, won't start at first. I leave it and fiddle with the gear shift and finally it starts. Runs no problem, shut it off and it restarts. Noticed that the gear shift light shows reverse when...

Sounds like the shifter linkage needs adjusted. There is a neutral saftey switch that prevents the car from being started in any foward or reverse gear. If the shifter linkage is out of adjustment, the neutral safety switch will give you starting problems.

2005 dodge caravan low beams do not work

Hi my name is Allen!

The most probable cause is the multifunction switch. But I would try replacing one of the bulbs first to see if your low beems on the headlights or both bad. I have seen this several times. If the bulbs are OK the most likely fix would be the switch.
