Sounds like a leak in the system or your pump is dying. a common problem with air suspension. although it is supposed to shut off when the air level is full.

How to check lincoln air suspention pump to see if is putting air to rear bags

First check to see if the pump runs when the key is turned on, if not check the 30 amp fuse in the fuse box right side under the hood. If the fuse is blow the pump may have over heated from running longer than it should. As old as this car is it most likely has dry rotted air bags. If the pump runs spray the rear bags with windex and look for any bubbles should be none. This could get expensive if the pump is already gone.

Something is causing the back end of the car to sit several inches lower than the front end.

The suspention on our 97 ford expedtion is not lifting i understand that there is a release button under the hood where is it located also i heard that i can put air in the suspention where?

There is not a place to install air pressure,There is a reset switch under the passenger side kick panel.Turn the switch off and on ,If no response you may have a faulty compressor, air compressor relay. If in doubt have a mechanic diagnose your issue before you replace any parts.

My air goes from coll to warm during the operation

okay first the heat may and most likely does have a blockage in the heater core and a good flush will take care of that.

no the air suspension sounds like it is working properly but the air bags are blown out in the back. this is a very comon problem with these trucks and do the all the time. not they are like 250 buck a piece and you need two. if that is okay no problem but if you don't want to pay over 500 in just parts to get your truck back up. there is a conversion kit sold by aftermarket parts store that is under 150 dollars and very easy to install for a shop and won't cost that mcuh. hope fully that helps. good luck man

2004 discovery needs air pump how much does dealer charge and is it need to be fixed

It needs to be working to blow air into your back suspention. The pump is under the floor by your door. Its in a drop down box.Check the pump your self or have some one check it for you before you buy a new one.Has i now the swiches infront of the pump fail and so does the micro swiches on the rear suspention arms The Micr swiches activate the pump and are a real problem with the land rover.I would change them firstly. The compressor pump is around $600 new.So check the above before replacing.Good luck phil.
