Could be the fuel filter or the fuel lines. If no gas on the ground just smells like gas could be your exhaust system. Find you a good mechanic that will check it and give you an estimate. My advice take it to 2-3 mechanics to make sure they are being honest about the work and cost.

Honda runs their fuel lines inside the car when going from the fuel tank to the engine. move the rug out of the way and you should see where the leak is. inspect the line for other bad spots. you can either replace damaged line at the leak or replace the entire line inside the car. make sure the repair is safe and not leaking. ventilate the car to get rid of any fumes that may linger.

2004 Saturn ion leaks liquid from under the back seat of the driver side and smells like gasoline. What could be wrong?

Lift the back seat and check. Some cars have a hatch there to access the fuel pump. Did you recently have work done on it ?
Maybe that the fuel line is leaking.

My05 magnum smells like it has a gas leak from inside the car .what is it there are no leaks.

over filling fuel tank will cause an oder of fuel also it will leak into evap emissions system which my radiate into car and usually if you had any kind of leak in the fuel system whether it be fuel lines or evap side it would throw a code and if you had a fuel line leak it should affect the way the car runs by not getting sufficient fuel pressure not sure you are over filling fuel tank but thats the only thing i can think of not knowing if you have MIL light on

We have a leak in our 3 door hatch where the back seat on the drivers side is very wet we have taken out the seat and removed the plastic trim from the boot we still can't find where it is coming from has...

I remember VW used to have their heater core under the back seats. When the core goes bad, all the water in your radiator leaks under the back seat floor mats. I'm not sure if this is the case, but does your heater work? Do you smell a maple-like odor under the seats? Do you keep filling the radiator a lot? Real puzzle.
Or, it may be coming from under the seats. Water from rainy days may be coming in from under the body. Check if you can see daylight under the seats: Place a high beam light source under the car and see if you can see the light from the inside. It is really a mystery if this isn't the cause.

I have a fuel leak somwhere near the gas tank. There is fuel which leaked on to the rear axle but I can not find the source.

IT MIGHT HAVE COME FROM THE FILLER TUBE TO THE GAS TANK! OR POSSIBLY ONE OF THE FUEL LINES ATTACHED TO THE TOP OF THE TANK! ON A NEWER CAR, YOU CAN ACCESS THE FUEL PUMP INLET FROM UNDER THE BACK SEAT! DEFINATELY CHECK THIS OUT, AS IT CAN CAUSE A FIRE, AND YOU COULD GET HURT!

2003 Montana-fuel guage always reads full. Unable to refill tank when low on fuel.

This is caused by a bad sending unit in the fuel tank, I have seen this many times and a new fuel sender fixes these every time.

This is very common in montanas... a
lso for the fuel gauge (I believe its applicable for a 2000 and later), it may be an issue with the C-305 connector.

Its a pass-thru connection for wiring (from inside cabin to outside/underneath). It connects various wires for things in rear of vehicle(including connection to fuel pump/sensor). While its weatherproof on bottom (underneath) it is not inside cabin, spills/ various leaks inside can cause water intrusion and subsequent corrosion of wires.

The connector should be under carpet to the rear of drivers seat (you may be able to see exactly where by looking under vehicle for a bundle of wires that come out from cabin)
.

Hope helps.

Where is the fuel pump and fuel filter at

The fuel pump and strainer are located inside the fuel tank.

There are three possible locations for this component due to different production dates/locations: under hood, passenger side, rear engine area, below firewall, mounted in fuel line or under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, mounted on frame in fuel line or under vehicle, driver side, below rear seating area, mounted on frame in fuel line

Easiest method to find, follow the fuel pump lines from the tank forward, you'll find the filter.

If you change the filter, it's not a bad idea to put a little Gumout fuel injector cleaner directly into that new filter, about 1/2 full before reinstalling, that will give your injectors a quick clean. It can cause a short sputter or two but I've never seen it cause a problem and it does help clean the fuel system quickly.

You'll also want to remember to turn the key on for 3 seconds, off for 3 seconds, alternating until the fuel pressure builds before trying to start the vehicle, after repairs are made to either the pump or the filter.

Use caution when removing lines, pressure and flammable !

Good Luck
