Tire pressure indicator comes on a week after service constantly. Was told by dealer that this was a design flaw. Is this true?

IT may be that the tyres you are using have a porous compound in the rubber that allows the air to escape to a lower level after running. I have this problem on the GT radials that are on the car as they drop from 32psi to around 25 psi after a week on the road with no leaks.

My 1991 Legend feels insecure when driving, feels like uneven air pressure in tires but these have been checked and set at 32psi

Hi there. Good that you have checked the tyres pressures first, that’s the first thing I would have suggested. Given the age of your vehicle, the next thing to consider is the effectiveness of your dampers, in that when your dampers are ‘shot’ your vehicle will feel insecure, bouncy and a bit wobbly. My strong recommendation to you is to visit a Fast Fit Center and have them inspect and test the dampers and replace if necessary them. Hope this helps, Scottech.

Air pressure high, HELP!!!

the tire pressure should be 32psi recommended tire pressure is in the door jamb driver side or in the owners manual. 45psi on the side of the tire is the maximum pressure the tire can hold. the tire pressure should be dropped to 32psi asap. high pressure will wear down the center of the tread, give you a rough ride, and it's possible it could blow or separate the tread especially if you hit a pot hole or something like that. it's not too likely that it would blow out. just fix it asap.
