Checked all connectors,have power to starter,and a good ground on engine.have power going into a module under the abs system on the fender.
Do you have power to the large wire at the alternator? If not likely fried a fusible link(fancy piece of wire) at the starter. Most gms of that era had the battery cable going to the starter and several small wires coming off with fuse links in them to feed the rest of the car. you can feel them when they are bad, when you pull on the fuse link the bad one will be springy
Check that power wire has not been left off the battery or fuseable link blown.
