Question about 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited
For no apparent reason my car, which has only 28k miles on it, has repeatedly stopped accelerating causing me to pull over. At the same time the ESC off light goes on in the dashboard. The first time it did this I could brake, but not accelerate and safely steer and turn off the road. Then restart the car. The problem vanished but then recurred a few hours later. I've had the car towed to the dealer and am curious if you know what it could be and how much it might cost? Also, is it cost effective to buy my part on line and then just have them install it? I know how high the dealer mark ups are. Any ideas?
THIS VEHICLE OF YOURS AT THAT MILAGE SHOULD STILL BE UNDER WARRENTY AND SHOULDEND COSTYOU A CENT.TAKE NOTE THAT YOUR EXP TELLS ME THAT IT IS THE EXCELLERATOR PEDEL SWITCH(ELECTRONIC PEDAL) ANDBREAK LIGHT SWITCH.THEY WORK TOGETHER
