If you clear the light, you clear all data needed
to find the problem & make the required repairs

If you made the repairs, the light will go off, when
you drive about a miles or two, at 22 mph or more,
when the abs system runs a self check

SOURCE: honda crv engine light

I would go to your local Honda dealership and tell them the engine light came on. They will hook it up to a special computer and they will be able to tell you why the engine light came on and what's wrong with the car. Not sure what the cost will be to get it checked out. If you don't have the money for that right now.

2003 Honda CRV. After I changed the ABS sensor, the light still on. Please tell me how can I do it? Thanks.

You have to clear the ABS Sensor code with a scan tool. Any garage or Autozone will do for free.

I have a 2006 Honda CRV and the lights are lit up VSA, ABS and triangle. Was told the VSA needs to be replaced and that it is spendy. How much would it cost to have those to be turned off or reset

try resetting using a scan tool
get a good used one from the wreckers
as they all work of the wheel sensors for the ABS , check for wire or sensor failure
have the fault codes read to determine what sensor is failed

How to reset abs light on crv 2003

The ABS system means the Antilock Brake System. If the ABS lights on the dashboard permanently the ABS system is faulty. You must access the ABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) memory to pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car. Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ABS ECU, in other words reset the ABS system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard.

The ABS light stays on whilst driving on a Honda CRV

Hello. This indicates that you have a bad sensor or a problem with the antilock braking system [ABS]. If your brakes no longer pump themselves when you make a quick stop you know that the antilock braking system is not working. If they still pump, the problem is more likely in sensor to the ABS system. Joe

1998 honda crv abs light stays on for weeks then goes off for a few days then back on

HAVE A MECHANIC SCAN YOUR ABS SYSTEM THROUGH THE ECM. IT IS MOST LIKELY A FAULTY WHEEL SPEED SENSOR OR MAY BE THE ABS HYDRAULIC MODULATOR ITSELF.
