Sounds like you either have a loose belt or a tensioner going bad.

Car won't start, inside lights won't work and I already checked my fuses and the light switch/dimmer and lastly my window won't go down so I wonder if replacing the window motor will help with the lig

First things first. Take your battery out & take it to lacal auto parts store to "load test"it. The issues you are describing can happen w/a really low battery that isn't completely dead. If the battery is good have the parts store charge it I go back & try again. I fit is bad u might need a new battery. Check that problem first. Alternator might have gone bad & drained battery.

I have a 96 geo tracker it starts up fine but sometimes at red lights or stop signs it will shut off but I turn the key it fires right back up but now the past 3 weeks I replaced batteries cause there not...

There is a lot more to an automotive charging system than just the alternator and the battery. I would recommend checking the rest of the system to find out what the problem is. Please note that to do this properly, you must first understand how a charging system works. Then you must have (and know how to use) the correct equipment to perform the tests necessary to pinpoint the problem. If you do not understand this, or if you do not have the equipment, then I would recommend taking the car to someone who does.

My 2004 Lexus RX 330 has 105,000 miles and has recently not started twice. I had the battery jumped and it cranked right up so I charged the battery to a full charge, The next day, the car cranked right up...

Sounds more like the Alternator or Voltage regulator is not charging the battery correctly. Have the Alternator checked. If you remove it and take it to Auto Zone or Advance Auto they should be able to test it for you.

Jeep has been having trouble starting. A new starter, alt, and battery has been tried.

did you replace these things because the engine was turning over slower then normal?
or no turning over at all?
or turning over but wouldn't start?

How do I troubleshoot the charging system?

test battery and alternator battery may be loosing charge or alternator output enough to run vehicle but not enough to keep battery charged some auto stores such as auto zone/advanced auto can bench test both for free

Alternator and electrical problems ive changed alternator twice, now clicking noise under dash bat. light comes on and dash lights flicker

check all battey connections and system grounds. Check that the battery has 12v and holds properly when load tested. To check charging system, don't disconnect any battery leads...put a volt meter across the battery. when running, you should have at least 12.9v and volts should not drop. (usual reading is generally at or near 13) at idle with all accessories on voltage should be close to that as well. voltage should not exceed 14.Also make sure that drive belt is not slipping.

No charge to battery

the starting /charging system is interrelated ....check amp draw of starter...be sure ALL grounds on engine alternator starter battery are clean and tight...also you could have a parasitic electrical leak...disconn neg side to battery and put test light in line..should be faint light for radio and computer..nothing more..if it burns bright you have something drawing power when system is off..pull fuses one at a time to discover where ....good luck

Starter clicks but wont turn over,

1st check the battery. It can power the lights and radio, but not be able to turn the engine over. Take it out and bring it to a parts store, they will check it for free and let u know the battery's condition. If the battery checks out ok, but has a low charge, then u should check out the alternator, to see if it's not charging the battery properly. And yes, it could be the starter, but check the battery and alt. 1st. If charging system is good, u can remove the starter and bring it in to the parts store for a free check to see if it's functioning properly, So let me know how things check out, I'll help further as u check out the above.

Car will not jump start

Check battery voltage. If volts are very low, put on charger. In many cases, you can't jump through a really dead battery... not enough voltage gets through to computer etc to make systems operate.
Battery may be used up... if it will not take a charge, replace it and check charging system before driving. PS: use a charger to charge battery. If it is very low, you candamage charging system in other vehicle. Also,,, You cleaned terminals already RIGHT???
