I have a 1998 Lincoln carier towncar and I have blinking sounds and the marker lights work but not the blinkers

You hear a clicking sound but none os the turn signals work, neither front, rear or dash indicators? Check the underdash fuse panel to see if it is the flasher that is clicking. There needs to be some resistance in the flasher to make it work so some light should be working. Do the emergency flashers work? They use the same bulbs but a different flasher. Both systems go through the turn signal switch, Move the emergency flasher lever in and out several times to make sure there is a good connection. Check to see if current 12 volts are getting to the signal bulbs.

1999 Lincoln Continental was in for repairs and now my turn signals and break lights dont work. Im being told it's something to do with the anti theft system because the battery was unhooked. The...

I suspect there is a problem with the turn signal/ hazard switch. turn the turn signal on left or right, if it doesn't flash, grip the hazard button and gently wiggle it around, if the signals start flashing, replace the turn signal switch. The Brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch, if the 3rd brake light works, the brake switch is OK. I don't think it has anything to do with the anti theft system (at this time)

Where is the fuse for the turn signals on a lincoln continental

Without knowing the year, I'll guess that it's newer than 1998. The turn signals aren't controlled by a flasher. They are controlled by the lighting control module. It's located under the dash, driver's side, just about behind the ash tray. It's held in by 7mm nuts and 2 plastic tabs. Hope I've helped. If so, please rate my assistance and leave a comment. In the event it's older than a '98 and isn't controlled by the module. Turn on the emergency flashers and follow the clicking. That will lead you to the fuse box where you will find a round "DOT 3" fuse/relay.

Both turn signals do not work or works intermitantly

There is a recall on the alero for this issue. We had the same with our 01 alero and they fixed it under the recall.
