Check the connections and wires to the starter. Probably a loose or damaged one.

Did you doublecheck all your connections for wiring? Battery connections and also is the area where starter goes into block clean and free of oil or grease. Alot of times the starter is grounded to the engine that way. It's possible, not probable that if you got a remanufactured starter, they don't always work as well as a new one. It's the old "you get what you pay for" kinda thing. Good luck.

2005 Altima won't start, hear clicking sound coming from fuse box,key stuck in ingintion, won;t turn over, tried to jump start.

the clicking that you hear is coming from the starter relay. sounds like your ignition starter switch or ignition lock cylinder is bad.

My 1997 Nissan altima wont crank over

Test battery, and check for loose connections. Check starter fuse & relay. If you don't hear clicking sounds while trying to start the car then most likely it's a bad starter relay. If your getting voltage to the starter but no click then you have bad starter.

I over heated my car know it wont start. Just replaced the battery and still wont start. Smoke from the starter comes out what shall i do?

Don't try starting anymore until you find out why starter is overheating. What was the cause of the car overheating? Was it a severe overheat? If so, it may be possible that the engine is seized now and the starter can't turn it over.

2002 nissan altima wont crank?

Check the transmission neutral start inhibit switch is not the cause of your problem. (try both 'P' to 'N' positions).
If the headlights work ok there should be enough power in the battery to at least make a solenoid type noise when start is attempted- so it may not be caused by a faulty alternator.
Check the battery terminals are clean and firmly attached to the battery,
Check battery is properly grounded to the chassis and motor,
Check that +12v is available at the starter motor engage solenoid when the ignition switch is held in the 'start' position - check any start slave relay operation.
If all above is OK, you may have a faulty starter motor.
