Question about 1997 Dodge Intrepid
97 dodge intrepid 3.5 just all of sudden stopped firing cam and crank sensor ok was running fine got out and got back in and wouldnt start fuel pump is working checked all wiring and timing belt is fine not getting fire to the ignition coil pack checked back of alternater wire and it is pulsing there but not to the coil pack
Ok the fuel pump is working but is fuel getting to the engine, I would suggest checking with a repair manual to see if where the fuel pressure regulator is located on this vehicle to make sure you are getting fuel flow. Also On some vehicles that fires on a coil pack the crankposition sensor along with the cam sensor sends the information to the engines ecm it then in turns fires the coil pack,. I would suggest getting a scan tool and look for the trouble codes if there are a lot of different codes appearing it might be the ecm. You would need to get a good repair manual to refer to your engine size to see how the electrical works. Hope this helps.
